Women’s Health & Mental Health

I have firsthand experience of how deeply physical health and mental health are connected, and how often these systems are treated separately.

Hormonal, reproductive, and metabolic conditions can impact levels of anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, relationships, and overall well-being, yet truly integrated care is still hard to find.

Because of this, I offer mental health counseling for individuals navigating the emotional and psychological aspects of reproductive and metabolic health conditions.

Therapy is tailored to your unique experience and may include support around:

  1. Exploring the mind–body connection and understanding how stress and mental health challenges can influence physical symptoms

  2. Developing coping strategies for frustration related to weight changes, eating concerns, fatigue, or chronic symptoms

  3. Cultivating self-compassion and rebuilding trust in your body

  4. Navigating relationship dynamics, including communication, boundaries, and partner support

  5. Trauma-informed care to process past medical, relational, or body-based experiences that may impact current symptoms

  6. Processing infertility-related grief, uncertainty, or loss

  7. Addressing burnout, invalidation, or frustration within medical systems

  8. Coordinating appropriate referrals for holistic, integrative care (such as nutritionists or OB/GYN providers)
